glynis was best friends with my next-door neighbour. we didnt really spend any time together at all. last week there was a burlesque practise at chelseys studion for BURLAIMO, which is coming this month. glynis was there, wearing smoked cigarettes and coffee. she gave me a ride home in her car, in her car that was playing t.rex. the gentleman-singer said, i danced myself right out the womb, is it strange to dance so soon? i thought, NO! i thought, T.REX!! and that is how i found out all about them.

and, gosh, we saw immaculate machine play at the queens on thursday night! and it was awesome! i really like them -- i like how they sound so familiar, and how they sing like they mean it and the girl-singer shuts her eyes and the boy-singer grins and holds his guitar close to his body. its a dream!! this show was the first time we ever played bikini kill! how fucked up is that? i looooove bikini kill. kathleen hanna is out-of-control.
